Ginsenoside Rb3 is a natural triterpenoid saponin, exhibiting inhibition effect on TNFα-induced NF-κB transcriptional activity. It also inhibits the induction of COX-2 and iNOS mRNA.

Ginsenoside Rb3 is found in species of Panax. It inhibits contractions in aortic rings, decreases blood glucose levels, and improves oral glucose tolerance, improves immobility time in the forced swim tail suspension, and learned helplessness tests, and inhibits oxidative damage.
